2) There is confirmed news from Dr.Ken Evoy that SBI will be introducing a 3 column basic CSS templates in the future Block Builder. However, there is no confirmed news when and how it will work.
3) Now I'm providing you just another option which is free, but backed up by personal help and service.
I'm not really keen to make a sales pitch and talk bad about my competitors in SBI. As I believe that a free quality product don't really have any competitors (other than other free ones).

After you download the package you'll notice a folder by name "Customized-Design-Order.zip". This zip folder contains an excel file with a questionnaire like section inside. It contains the variable design parameters which you can customize. Another column depicts the present/default template values to make you understand the way you need to provide me the data. The third column is where you need to fill up with your data.
You fill up the form with your desired selected values in color codes etc. (everything is explained on how to get those), save the excel file and send to me by email. I'll work on your request and return your main control file back to you, which you need to replace in your folder (instructions provided). Don't worry too much now about this, you'll get all details inside your template package.
This service helps you to concentrate on the HTML stuff and building or moving your content to the new HTML and uploading it to the SBI server rather than the template technicalities.

As per the SBI system, the SBI 'thank you pages' are made 'on the fly' and the HTML file is not stored on your SBI domain root folder. In normal circumstance it will carry the look and feel of your block builder template.
You will not be able to have the same look and feel for this page unless it is customized. I'll provide you with the help for customizing this page with your new template so that visitors appreciate the experience.
I'm providing you two options for this.
Option 1: You provide me your choice of header picture and I customize it along with your logo on the new template.
Option 2: I can provide you professional header graphics based on some popular themes, with your logo done on your template.

As a pen picture.
