There are two ways to make money with banners, (a) Directly placing an affiliate partner/marketers banner on your website and (b) Some advertiser wants to purchase a space on your homepage or other page to display their advertisements on contract with you and paying you a certain amount of money for that period. The options are discussed below:

Affiliate partner banners

In the first option you are the king. In your objective to make money with banners in this case it is you who decide where to put your affiliate marketers banners. But as you understand that you will only be paid on fulfill of certain criteria. Like either a sale is effected for the advertiser or a form is filled up and lead confirmed etc.

This is easy to get and you need not find out hard to place the nice looking banners on your website. 1) Open the free account with them.

2) Select the appropriate category for your website.

3) Choose the relevant advertisers based on your 'asking price'

4) Check the site names who sold ad spots similar to your price.

5) Look at those websites and find the advertiser who purchased that space, click and go to the advertisers website and find out their contact information and offer them your 'asking price' justify with reasoning why your website can be better for him to place ads.

When you will be successful you will start to make money with banners displayed on your website.
