Cheap domain names and how to find the RIGHT domain names

How to find the RIGHT domain name and buy cheap domain names? Remember, your search engine optimization effort to make your website rank high in natural search starts here.

If you are not creating website for your brand name or business. I suggest that you target your main keyword or the product you want to promote/affiliate with. The keyword principle I explained the page keyword research technique. For promoting a speciied product it is better to target a name similar to that, but ensure that you do not violate domain privacy of that company.

After doing the keyword research, now you decide to create a site about a particular theme, let us assume "how to save marriage". That is a problem and people actually try to find a solution for this and I can offer them my help on a website. Let us assume that we did all the keyword research and found this main keyword as "doable".

Next I go to a site called http://www.domaintools.com/buy/domain-suggestions/ and write "how to save marriage" in the box and hit on submit. Conversely you might also research a prodcut which deals with this problem and try to find a domain near to that phrase. Let's say one product I know called "Marriage Sherpa", you need to find out a domain name similar to that with .com, .og or .net extention.

Good!! looks like I’ve found my niche to build a site around, but I have to do a bit more research on this before I start building my website.

I now go to www.Google.com and type “your main keyword” or the product name keyword to see the number of actual competitors.
If you find there are 30,000 or less actual competitors which is really great. You can be on the first page with doing basic SEO actually!

A good domain name must be classic, short and sharp, meaningful, easy to remember, easy to spell, attractive to human visitors but it must contain your main theme keyword.

For example if your main theme is "how to save marriage" you need to search domain like:www.howtosavemarriage.com or www.how-to-save-marriage.com. You also can make like : www.howtosavemarriage.org but as you see the ones with dashes looks clean and easy to remember. If your theme is of two words then you can choose to have it together. Since I have used my main keyword in the same order I am sure to get a good rank for that in Google.

Domain names with .com, .org or .net, should be preferred than others for its universal coverage, however if it is for a local audience or for a particular country you should try to get the country specific ones like .us, .ca, .uk, .de, .in, .cn etc. as your optimization for country will be done based on that.
